Film Group
One night a month a group of us meet, see a movie, go to a nearby pub to hang out and talk about what we saw and experienced. (Or whatever conversations emerge).
No film expertise is assumed, though if you've got it, bring it.
No religious orientation is required or expected. We won't focus on religious faith (unless the movie raises that issue). We focus on the film: how it was put together, how it worked or didn't, whether it moved us or not, etc. We try to make sure that somewhere in the background of our conversations is a question about human flourishing. What kind of story is being told about how to live well amidst all the challenges we face?
