Welcome to Incarnation
If you got a card from us this weekend, welcome to the online presence of Incarnation. We hope you can find out what you want to know about us. We're a growing Christian community that worships together. But as you can tell from the site, we support a pretty wide range of groups and projects.
We read fiction and discuss film. We brew beer and find ways to serve those who are poor or in pain. We're trying to find simple ways to make the earth and our neighborhood a better place to live. So we're very excited to be partnering with Just Food to sponsor the Central Park West CSA (starting soon).
Yet in all we do, we're doing it as a community of friends who are learning to live the Christian faith as a way of life. We're not a gaggle of individuals. We're learning to belong to one another, to care for and attend to one another's needs. We're trying to pay attention to God's presence in our lives and see where that leads us.
If you're unfamiliar with the Christian faith and want to find out more, you'll find several others among us who describe themselves as "curious." If you're interested in reconnecting with practices of Christian spirituality, come explore with us at a pace that makes sense to you. And if you're new to the city and looking for a Christian community to worship and serve with, we'd love to have you.
